Current verification of disability is needed to access the Canada Student Grants for Students with Disabilities. Obtaining this verification can often be a significant barrier for post-secondary students who require support. Students who have a confirmed diagnosis of disability or medical condition that impacts learning often obtain disability verification from their medical doctor, psychologist or psychiatrist. Unfortunately, access to such professionals is often a barrier for students. MyLearningCoach supports eligible students who do not have a confirmed disability or medical condition or who require support obtaining verification through our assessment services. Our team of psychologists provide various assessments as a point of access for post-secondary students. We support students to obtain timely and affordable access to educational-psychological assessments, ADHD assessments, mental health assessments and assessments for Autism. Many students are referred to MyLearningCoach directly from the post-secondary school they attend for our assessment services. Our assessments are often covered by the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities as well.
