Who qualifies for the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-D)?

The Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-D) is available to post-secondary students who meet the following criteria:

  • Eligibility for a Canada Student Loan: Students must apply for and qualify for a Canada Student Loan through their province or territory.
  • Enrollment in a Designated Program: Applicants must be enrolled in a part-time or full-time program at a designated post-secondary institution.
  • Verification of Learning or Medical Barriers: Students must provide documentation such as verification of disability, medical certificate, psycho-educational assessment, ADHD assessment, etc.

 

MyLearningCoach supports students who are experiencing barriers to learning to access educational-psychological assessments, ADHD assessments, mental health assessments and Autisim assessments. Such assessments meet the documentation requirements needed to access the grant.
